Battle Report 1

Narrative

The space wolves have made planet fall on Kor, the innermost planet in the Altimer system. Kor is a mining planet, with a relatively low population. The initial strike is on a small Tau communication station near the space wolves landing site. The space wolves need to overwhelm the small defense force and disable the comm-station, so that they can continue their attack in secret.

Game Notes

The Imperial Bastion in the center of the board represents the comm-station. Each unit that the space wolves get into base-to-base contact with the bastion will place an explosive charge on the objective. Each unit can only place one explosive charge during the game, and vehicles and monsters cannot place charges.

The Comms Station

The Imperial Bastion at the center of the table is being used to represent the comms station. This scenario uses the "sentries" special rule. The sentries chosen were a strike team consisting of eight fire warriors, one marker drone and one gun drone, which were deployed fairly symmetrically around the comms station.
